Here is The Architect’s remix of John Derek Bishop’s recent track Det Dunkle. In case you are wondering, we are pretty sure the above image is of a young Architect. Heartwarming isn’t it? Anyways, this remix will probably be featured on The Architect’s upcoming Collective Resonance release and the original of Det Dunkle will be on John Derek Bishop’s upcoming Collective Resonance release Collages. That will be out May 31st 2013. You can check out the original version of Det Dunkle and pre-order his Collages LP from our Bandcamp page.
Just letting you know that we have released a new track off of the upcoming Collective Resonance compilation Resonance 2.5. Check out GO Yama’s contribution via the Soundcloud player embedded below. It’s a track called Rawb G and seems to have gotten a great response since we uploaded it to the CR Soundcloud page yesterday evening. Pre-orders for the Digital Version, Cassettes and Limited Edition Vinyl copies of Resonance 2.5 are available now from our Bandcamp. Just click here or on the Pre-order link featured on the Soundcloud player for that.
16 year old Florida based producer Kaelin Ellis formerly known as Mr. Mockwell is all set to release his next EP La Luz on Collective Resonance. Those of you that are already familiar with Mr. Mockwell/Kaelin Ellis will know that he is super talented not only for his age, but for any kind of musician. His last two releases under the Mockwell alias were extremely popular as was his latest self released album.
Kaelin expects to be done working on La Luz by mid October 2013. We have a busy release schedule here at Collective Resonance. So we don’t expect to get this one released until late December 2013 but we may be able to work something out and release it sooner. So be on the lookout for updates. Pre-orders are available from our Bandcamp page now and are very much appreciated. We will be releasing a couple of tracks for this release here and on our Soundcloud very soon and we are working on a music video to promote this particular release. We are also thinking of doing a very limited amount of vinyl.
You can check out Flute Song and pre-order via the link on the Soundcloud player embedded below. Flute Song will be on our upcoming Resonance 2.5 compilation release as well as on La Luz. That’s about all we have for now folks. Just listen, share and enjoy.

So we have just dropped this new free to download release. A while back now we asked a bunch of beatmakers and producers to remix tracks off of Rhythum’s last Collective Resonance release Depth Perception. We provided the stems and promised to pick our favourite tracks and put them on a Depth Perception Remix Compilation and here it is. This one features a bunch of remixes from talented beat musicians from all over the world and there is a great variety of styles to be heard.
You can expect to hear some remixes from GO Yama, Naughty Hippo, Man Of The Downtrodden, Ten Little Rabbits, Monkeywrench, BROKEN KEYS, DOC Mastermind, Planetmalcolm, Lacay and others. Please do check it out. As already mentioned, it’s free to download but donations are welcome. See the track listing for who did what exactly and enjoy.
After Hours is the stage name used by Bill Jabr, singer, songwriter, and producer. The Atlanta, Georgia based artists latest single Fast Life is a nostalgic blend of analog 80′s sounds with heavy synths, soulful guitars, and falsetto Pincish vocal melodies. His sound has been described as an alternative Chillwave vibe with influences from artists like Prince, Pharrell, and MGMT. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I personally like it and recommend listening to it.
Here is one we released a little while back via the Collective Resonance Soundcloud. Frank Bin Down is a collaboration between Austin, Texas based producer Man Of The Downtrodden and Raleigh, North Carolina based MC F.K.B.S A.K.A Francisco Kastellum. This track will be on their upcoming Collective Resonance release The Air Up There. This project will probably come out late September if all goes to plan. Check it out if you haven’t already, share it and enjoy. You can also pre-order the album from our Bandcamp via the link on the Soundcloud player embedded below.

So I just got an Email from one of my college tutors Luke Sanger. Also known as Duke Slammer, he is dropping a new release called Droid Boogie under that alias soon, June 17th to be exact. It will come out on his own label Bonus Round Records. Some of you may already be familiar with Duke Slammer, I posted about him on the blog here a little while back now. If you are unfamiliar however, then here is your chance to get a bit more acquainted. His sound is inspired by P Funk and artists like DaM Funk amongst others. This will be his fourth release as Duke Slammer. I’m sharing a little album teaser mix that he put together to promote the release. You can expect to here some funky, glitchy vibes. Please share and help spread the word about this one if you like what you hear.
It’s Day 11 of 12 Days Of GO Yama and today we present to you Moonwalking On The Darkside. Please check it out and share it about.
